For a customer from the medical technology sector, we have manufactured a high-end product with the highest quality requirements. The demanding task was carried out by ZENTNER with a strong determination and success.
This unique controller housing made of stainless steel 1.4301 is assembled from seven sheet metal parts and a milled 6mm front panel. To meet the high EMC requirements that apply to this housing, two welding processes are used. TIG for the connection of the front panel and resistance spot welding for the chassis and angle. By positioning the front panel using a precise welding template and using a unique tongue-and-groove connector system for the angle and chassis, an accurately fitting and torsion-resistant connection is ensured.
